Pulse of the Nation is a Social Opinion Poll Index related to India
by the Indians. It is calculated that
more than 25 Million Nimbuzz users across India are using Nimbuzz. With the
help of the Indian Nimbuzz users the social opinion poll like ‘Pulse of the Nation’
works.

'Pulse of the Nation – The Social Opinion Poll result is almost
genuine and reliable because of the large number of Indian Nimbuzz user’s
participation. This buddy gives information about the latest trends, customer
emotions etc from the poll results. This buddy allows both males and females
and people of all age groups to participate by sharing their opinion.
How to participate in Pulse of the Nation - Nimbuzz Social Opinion Poll
Pulse of the Nation Buddy will be there in your contact list of
your Nimbuzz account or if it is not in your contact list you need to add it
first to participate in the poll.
- Sign in to your Nimbuzz account
- Go to Menu
- Select N-World
- There you can see ‘Pulse of the Nation Buddy’- if it is not there check ‘What is New’ section
- Click on the Pulse of the Nation Buddy
- Select ‘Add’
If it is successfully added you can see a message like ‘The bot
was added to your roster. Enjoy!’
Now go to your contact list there you can see the ‘Pulse of the
Nation Buddy’.
The display picture of this Buddy is National flag of India.
Type HELP in the message box and send it to start.
Four options will be
displayed,
- ANS – To answer questions.
- PULSE– To view the pulse of the Nation.
- SUB – To start receiving question of the day.
- UNSUB – To stop receiving question of the day.
ANS
If you send ANS to Pulse of the Nation buddy then it will start asking
question and you need to choose answer from the four options given by sending
1,2,3 or 4
Example: send ANS. Pulse of the Nation buddy asks a question.
Question: Which of these Indian actors is the face of Bollywood?
1. Sharukh Khan
2. Salman Khan
3. Amitabh Bachchan
4. Amir Khan
Now it is your turn to say your answer by sending 1,2,3 or 4. No need to type the name just needs to send
the corresponding number of the answer. If once you send an answer the buddy
will show the results like this.

You can send ANS again to answer more questions.
PULSE
If you send PULSE you can just see the results of the poll.

This is to subscribe question of the day. Yow will start
receiving Question daily. If successfully subscribed you will get a message ‘Congratulations,
you have subscribed for question of the day’
UNSUB
To unsubscribe you can use this command. You need to confirm by
sending ‘y’ to unsubscribe the question of the day option in the Pulse of the
Nation Buddy.
You can see the poll results in a graphical manner in the nimbuzz.org
site. The poll results are displayed in different categories like Country,
Work, Sports, Politics, Perception and Society. The graphical representation
makes you to know the public opinion and latest trends in an easy way. This
Pulse of the Nation is only for Indians and who all using Nimbuzz in India.
